Ivanka Naneva

Nasceu em 1961 na Bulgária. 1976/1981 – Estudou na Escola Nacional de Belas Artes de Sofia; ganhou concurso nacional de desenho. 1981/1987 – Estudou no Instituto Superior de Belas Artes de Sofia na especialidade de artes gráficas e gravura; Participou na exposição nacional de gravura com o ciclo litográfico “Os Costumes e Rituais do Povo”. Ilustra livros poéticos e cria a revista mensal para crianças “Os Contos” - maquetização e ilustrações.
Em 1992 vem para Portugal; apresenta-se ao público Lisboeta com exposição individual mista (litografias, ícones e desenhos) em Almada. Exposição individual com pintura no “Imprevisto”, 1996, Lisboa. Exposição colectiva na Galeria “Edmundo Cruz” com gravuras e ícones em 1997. Exposição individual no “Imprevisto” com Azulejos, 1998. Exposição individual de óleo sobre tela intitulada “Espiritual” no Fala-Só – Associação intercultural em Lisboa. Exposição colectiva de pintura na Galeria “Jusephus” em Lisboa. Exposição colectiva “Natividade” em Cascais com painéis de azulejos em 2000. Exposição individual com óleos sobre tela na Galeria da Junta de Freguesia de Cascais, 2001. Exposição de lançamento do livro “Cerâmica e Escultura” no Mercado da Ribeira em Cascais. Exposição individual de azulejos no “Tertúlia” bar. Exposição individual com azulejos na Galeria de Posto de Turismo em Cascais, 2002. Exposição com azulejos, óleos sobre tela e gravura na Galeria da Mãe de Água, Lisboa, 2003. Exposição individual com azulejos na “Galeria 55” em Cascais, 2004. Exposição colectiva na Galeria da Lapa com azulejos em 2005. Exposição individual de azulejo na Galeria da Junta de Fregusia de Cascais em 2010. Exposição de óleo sobre tela e azulejos na Galeria da Junta de Freguesia do Estoril, 2011.
Desde 1996 pinta na Fabrica M.M.Antunes-Bissece. Casas públicas e privadas em Portugal, França, Espanha, Brasil, USA, Austrália, Bulgária possuem painéis de azulejos seus.

Born in 1961 in Bulgaria.1976/1981 – Studied at the National School of Fine Art in Sofia. Winner of the national drawing contest. 1981/1987 – Studied at the Higher Institute of Fine Art in Sofia, specialising in graphic art and engraving. Participared in a national engraving exhibition with a series of lithographs called "Folk customs and rituals".Illustrated books of poetry and launched monthly children's magazine "Stories" -- modelling and illustrations. Moves to Portugal in 1992. The Lisbon public first see her work at an exhibition of lithographs, icons and drawings in nearby Almada. Individual exhibition of paintings in the "Imprevisto” gallery in 1996, Lisbon. Shows engravings and icons at a group exhibition at the “Edmundo Cruz” gallery in 1997. Individual exhibition of tiles at the “Imprevisto” in 1998. Individual exhibition of oil paintings entitled "Spiritual" at the "Fala-Só" cultural association in Lisbon. Group exhibition at the "Josephus" gallery, Lisbon. Shows tile panels at “Nativity” group exhibition in Cascais, near Lisbon, 2000. Individual exhibition of oil paintings at the Cascais Council Gallery. Exhibition to launch the book “Cerâmica e Escultura” (Cermaics and Sculpture) in the Ribeira Market, Lisbon. Individual exhibition of tiles at the “Tertúlia” bar, Lisbon in 2001. Individual exhibition of tiles at the Cascais Tourist Board Gallery in 2002. Showed tiles, oil paintings and engravings at the Mãe de Água gallery, Lisbon, 2003. Individual exhibition of tiles at the “Galeria 55” gallery in Cascais, 2004. Showed tiles at a group exhibition at the Lapa Gallery, Lisbon in 2005. Individual exhibition of tiles at the Cascais Council Gallery in 2010. Individual exhibition of oil paintings and tiles at the Estoril Council Gallery in 2011.
 “As of 1996 I have been painting at the Manuel Marques Antunes cermaic workshop in Bicesse,near Lisbon.I have discovered that hand-painting tiles is the technique that best matches the nature of my artistic spirit. I have fallen in love with traditional Portuguese ceramic art and do restauration work and hand-paint panels. The magical transformation of colour in the kiln, where it becomes brilliant and eternal, inspires me to work at my art.
